We encourage all members to attend the Annual General Meeting and celebrate what we have accomplished and learned in 2023, and what is planned for the upcoming year. Once you have registered a link will be sent, as well as an AGM package in the week prior to the AGM.
Farmers’ markets are represented by one voting member per group. Individual members each have one vote.
To be eligible to vote you must be a member in good standing for three weeks before the AGM. Unsure if you are up to date with your membership? Reach out to [email protected]
Market members: please make sure to assign someone from your market to be your representative at the AGM.

Direct Farm Manitoba is a non-profit cooperative with a nine-person volunteer board. We are seeking board members from both our farm and farmers’ market members for a 2-year term.
- Monthly meetings, with flexibility to join virtually (majority of meetings are virtual, with 1-2 meetings per year in person, and less meetings during the busy summer season);
- Gain an opportunity to work on a committee (for example, Conference Planning Committee);
- Work on important issues for farmers’ markets and local farms
