Direct Farm Manitoba is actively involved in advocating for the interests of its member markets and farmers.  In addition to this, our members have access to a number of other important benefits, including a farm or market profile on DFM’s website, promotion of the direct marketing sector throughout the season, and special events and programs.

Farmers' market

We are accepting applications from Direct Farm Manitoba member markets to join the 2024 Manitoba Community Food Currency Program. 

To participate in the program farmers’ markets need to meet the following guidelines:

  1. Be a Direct Farm Manitoba market member in good standing. 
  2. Has sufficient farm vendors offering eligible products to support the program
  3. Does not allow reselling of farm products (only allows primary producers)
  4. Has a market coordinator(s)/manager(s)
  5. Follows the MB Farmers’ Market Guidelines and has a valid farmers’ market permit for 2024 (or will be obtaining a 2024 permit)
