Fireweed Food Co-op is a social enterprise cooperative focused on connecting buyers and
sellers of local, sustainably produced food. We launched Winnipeg’s first Food Hub, beginning
with a pilot project in 2020, which operates as a storage, sales and distribution facility for local
food. As a co-operative for both food consumers and producers, we are dedicated to creating a
larger, more stable market for locally and sustainably produced food in the region, and to
making good food more accessible to more individuals, families and community as a whole.
