About
The South Osborne Farmers’ Market is run by Farm Fresh Food Hub, a community service co-op which aims to connect buyers and sellers of local, sustainably produced food. Starting mid-June, the market runs weekly on Wednesdays from 4-8 pm and features live music, craft beers, kids crafts and over 40 local food vendors.
Our work is done primarily by volunteers, and is guided by our mission to provide access to an urban market for small producers, while simultaneously encouraging consumers to purchase food that reduces the ecological footprint of our food system. Over the long term, Farm Fresh Food Hub is committed to:
– Developing an exciting space for producers and consumers to gather and connect
– Supporting local, small producers in their desire to access market opportunities
– Striving towards reducing the ecological footprint of Manitoba’s food system
