The site should also be left totally clean after your pick-up slot time.

Forks (William Stephenson Way Parking):

The parking lot our farmers can use is the one that is North of York Ave, between York and Sir William Stephenson Way. It is called 12-134 William Stephenson Way Parking on Google Maps (see below for diagram). You will find metal barricades in place at the bottom of the parking lot (bordering York Ave.) which is the area Direct Farm Manitoba has been given the use of.

The parking lot 117 at the Forks (please see map below for exact location- PLEASE DO NOT set-up in the main Forks parking lots!! This area will be Delivery (pick up and drop off) of farm products to Direct Farm Manitoba farmer’s clients. These products may include vegetables, dairy, meat, fruit, eggs, canning (non-hazardous) and honey.

The spots are open for the following date(s) and time(s):

June 5, 2020 to October 31, 2020.

Hours shall be 9:00am to 4:00pm each day with the occasional evening appointment, not to be scheduled later than 8:00pm.

Direct Farm Manitoba members will be using the parking lot area only. It is estimated that they will require a space the size approximately 22 parking spaces. These parking spaces would be used for the farm and customer vehicles, any small trailer they may require to haul their produce, and a small number of 6’ tables to distribute produce orders. They may have up to 5 customers parked and waiting for their turn to do their order pickup. Farm orders are to be paid and scheduled in advance.

Metal barricades will be in place to deter parking that could hinder the truck and trailer backing into the space and will be moved by the organization when gaining access to the space and returned when leaving the space
·         DFM is responsible to ensure all garbage is removed daily and site is left clear.
·         Signage would be the responsibility of the organization
·         People remaining on the lot past their pick-up time would be required to purchase surface lot parking or could receive a citation.

 
St. Vital Arena:

The parking lot at the St Vital Arena is permitted for use in the delivery (pick up and
drop of) farm products to Direct Farm Manitoba farmer’s clients. These products may
include vegetables, dairy, meat, fruit, eggs, canning (non-hazardous) and honey.

These can be used for the following date(s) and time(s):

June 1 2020 – October 31 2020
 
Monday – Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm with the occasional evening appointment not to be scheduled later than 8pm.
 
Saturday & Sunday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

Farmers are not permitted access to the Facility. Direct Farm Manitoba members will
be using the parking lot area only and is estimated that they require a space the size of up to 15 parking spaces. These parking spaces would be used for the farm and customer vehicles and any small trailer that may be required to haul produce as well as 6’ tables to distribute orders. You may have up to 5 customers parked and waiting for their turn to do their order pickup. Farm orders are to be paid and scheduled in advance.
