Jonathan’s Farm grows fresh vegetables for 300 CSA members, the Wolseley Farmers Market and the Selkirk Farmers Market. Jonathan is committed to ecological farming practices and all of his vegetables are grown naturally: no pesticides or herbicides prohibited by organic standards are used. Jonathan’s Farm has been in operation since 2010 and employs 4 people during the growing season.
Although he grew up in Winnipeg, Jonathan spent time in his twenties working on farms in Canada and the United States. One of his adventures took him to an organic farm in New York where he decided that he would start farming on his own.
Visit the Wolseley Farmer's Market, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-7pm at the R.A Steen Community Centre. Find the market on Facebook for updates.
